Legs

Hope everyone is doing well today. Today's blog is going to be about the importance of exercising your legs. Working legs is one of if not the most important weight training day of the week. The legs are what support your body, and allow you to move around. They are extremely important muscles to the body and are second to none in strength.

Today I'll be sharing three exercises you can do in order to improve leg strength:
  1. Squats
  2. Kettle Bell Lunges
  3. Leg Press
For squats you will do 3 sets for 6-10 reps. With this exercise it is very important to keep form and posture. You want to keep your head looking up, a straight back, and make sure you squat DEEP.

For kettle bell lunges you want to just lung and step. I typically do 3 sets for 10 steps back and forth. Pick a wait that is not easy but not too hard. Something manageable that will allow you to perform the movement to the best of your ability.

For leg press you just perform this exercise the way the machine tells you too. With this start light in weight and make sure you're doing the movement correctly. Once you're well acquainted with the movement, you can move up in weight. I recommend doing 3 sets for 10 reps.

Those are three exercises you can perform that will help with increasing leg strength. Be sure to always work out your legs. Its the hardest day of the week, but it is a day you NEVER want to skip out on. Just stay consistent and your results will show. Be better than you were yesterday.
